The problem with guessing

Bite activity is driven by a tangle of variables — water temperature, barometric pressure, moon phase, time of day, and the behavior of the specific species you're after. Most of us hold a rough mental model of this. Tacklbox turns it into a number.

What we're building

Tacklbox is a single app that answers the two questions that matter most before you fish:

• When will it bite? — an hourly bite score, 0–100, driven by solunar tables, real-time weather, and species-specific behavior. The score updates throughout the day and covers a 5-day outlook so you can plan around the best conditions.

• What did I catch? — an AI species scanner that identifies any fish from a photo in seconds, delivering a full knowledge card: rarity tier, average size, best baits, habitat notes, and a one-tap catch log.

And tying it together: an AI fishing coach that reads your location, the current conditions, and your target species, then builds you a personalized game plan — what to throw, where to fish, and when to go.

The fish tank

Every catch you log goes into your personal fish tank — a living digital aquarium that fills with the species you've caught. Fish are ranked by rarity tier, so a Legendary catch genuinely feels like one.
