The Coach isn't a general-purpose AI that knows a little about everything. It's a purpose-built system trained on fishing intelligence — solunar data, species behavior, seasonal patterns, bait effectiveness — and grounded in what's actually happening right now at your location.

When you open the Coach, it reads:

• Your GPS coordinates — the specific body of water you're on or near
• Current conditions — live wind speed, temperature, cloud cover, and barometric pressure
• Solunar position — where the sun and moon are, and whether a major or minor feeding window is active
• Your target species — or it picks the most likely active species for your location

From all of that, it builds you a game plan: what to throw, where to position on the water, and which hour of the day looks best for a bite.

The rotating prompts aren't random

When you tap into the Coach from the home screen, you'll notice the prompt field cycles through suggestions like:

• "Get today's game plan"
• "What should I throw today?"
• "Where should I fish nearby?"
• "When should I go fishing?"

These aren't decorative. Each one triggers a different mode in the Coach — the game plan pulls everything together, the "what to throw" mode focuses on lure selection based on current conditions, and "where to fish" uses your location to rank nearby spots by predicted activity.
